UPDATES - 2/11/13 - Yes, it's been awhile since the last update, but that's because we've been busy! We hit Newport Beach, CA next week, then Florida in a month. In Florida, Mark Kislingbury, Dee Boenau and I will be on a morning talk show, chatting about the movie and have some fun with steno! Everything's right on schedule.
10/23/12 - New York was a big success. Filmed at the Shorthand Museum and captured some really passionate reporters.
9/20/12 - About 20 interviews in the can so far, as well as lots of coverage of the NCRA convention in Philadelphia. Next stop: New York in October!
6/6/12 - We start filming next week! Our first interview is with Doug Friend, president of NCRA. We're starting at the top!
5/23/12 - Our first road trip will be in August - Philadelphia - to film the NCRA convention and watch the announcement that Mark will be attempting the speed writing record in 2013.
4/26/12 - 3 days after launching the project on Kickstarter, we're fully funded!! But more funds means a better production, so keep the pledges coming. Thanks!
4/8/12 - We haven't even launched our Kickstarter fund-raising effort, and we already have our first sponsor! $5000 - we're on our way!
3/26/12 - We thank the National Court Reporters Association for agreeing to give us access to the 2012 and 2013 conventions. There would be no documentary without their cooperation. In addition, we thank speed champion Mark Kislingbury for giving us access to his life, and allowing us to document his attempt at the world's record.
